Georgia and I had fun playing yesterday afternoon. I begged Leighton to come in and play with us (for many reasons, but a big one was that they had on matching dresses and I wanted a picture), but Leighton refused to join us. Late afternoons/early evenings are a tough time around here. I'm making the girls' dinner, Leighton is beating up on Georgia, everyone is tired and cranky. But there's also a lot of fun to be had.
I'm pretty sure Leighton has NEVER tried to climb on top of this piano. Georgia tries several times a day. I have a feeling this is an accident waiting to happen.
Georgia is playing peek-a-boo here. I hid in the tee pee and she kept walking away and then finding me. We had lots of laughs.
At some point, Leighton couldn't stay away from all the fun we were having in the playroom. Sadly, from the moment she came in, she pushed and rolled on Georgia.
Leighton had a time out in her room right after this. It was about the third time she had rolled on top of Georgia after I told her not to.
Georgia climbed up on this little chair that Leighton has NEVER climbed on. And of course, shortly after, she fell down.
Love this kid! Look at this happy little thing. She loves to roll around on the floor and I tickle her sides and give her lots of smooches on those chubby little legs.
Last night after this little play time, I set the girls in their chairs at the table for dinner. Georgia immediately vomited what I guess to be everything that she had eaten all day long. All over the place. As I frantically cleaned that up, she pulled on her place mat and dumped her dinner all over the floor. Leighton was highly entertained with the whole situation, as was Georgia (who appears to be feeling just fine). I guess I'm a seasoned mom now, because I didn't freak out at all and just systematically cleaned the entire mess. However, I was THRILLED when Chad walked through the door.
